Dear Pastor:

It’s my pleasure to introduce to you Jon and Priscilla Laase as missionaries sent out of Canton Baptist Temple through Baptist Mid-Missions to the country of France.  Jon grew up in France and his parents (Randy and Patricia Laase) are also missionaries sent out of our church.  That makes Jon a second-generation missionary who not only speaks French fluently, but is very familiar with French culture and ministry.  Priscilla’s father pastors in Upper Peninsula, Michigan, so she also comes from a full-time ministry background.  

Jon and Priscilla are a dedicated young couple who have fully surrendered themselves to God’s calling upon their lives.  In a day and time when so many people are obsessed with self-comfort and materialism, I find it refreshing to see young couples like Jon and Priscilla who are willing to pay the price in order to accomplish the Great Commission.  They love the Lord and are committed to evangelism, discipleship, church planning, and training of nationals in France.  In my opinion, they exemplify servant leadership which you will see in their actions and attitude.

Jon as completed his internship here at our church, and it’s with great confidence that I recommend him and Priscilla to you for prayer and financial support.  They need your help to fulfil the burden that God has placed upon their hearts.  Please consider giving them the opportunity to come your church and present what they feel God has called them to do.  If God so leads, Jon and Priscilla would be honored to partner with you.

It is with great joy and confidence that I recommend to you Jonathan and Priscilla Laase.  Over the last several years, I have had the privilege to watch these two grow and pour their lives into service in our church.  While attending college, the Lord brought them to minister in our church.  They have wholeheartedly invested themselves in numerous ministries while here.  Jonathan has helped lead our teen group in both Sunday School and our Sunday night teen time and has preached for me on many occasions.  Priscilla has likewise assisted with our teens and has been a huge blessing in our music ministry.  While serving as Pastor here, we have had a large  number of college young people serve in our church over the years.  These two have excelled them all in their maturity, their passion to share Christ, and their commitment to serve him.  Seeing their burden and clear calling,  I am so excited to see how God uses them to reach the people of France.  I am confident that you will be glad you added them to your missionary   family.
